Hello from K-2.Ths week we will finish our Superkids last book! We will begin to review our math skills from this year. We continue to explore the world of insects. We will discuss coral reefs in Let's Find Out. Please do not forget to send in food for the Church food pantry. We wish the 4th and 8th grades good luck on their science test.
It is hard to believe that May is here. We have already started to practice the songs for graduation. We are working on letters Kk, Qq, and Jj with the Superkids. We are talking about rhyming words and syllables. We are now adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers. Mary is our focus in religion. We have Mass on Thursday and the children are off on Friday.
This week we begin the Superkids book for letters Kk, Qq, and Jj. We will be looking for the "mystery" number in subtraction equations. We will begin to read and discuss Fairy Tales. We will talk about how Mary is our mother too. We will be attending the Book Fair on Thursday and the Walk-a-thon on Friday.
Hellto from K-2. Our letters this week are Pp, Vv, and Ww. We continue to learn about plants. We planted seeds last Friday and our motto is "GROW BABY GROW!". We are exploring the life cycle of a butterfly. Addition and subtraction are our focus in math. Don't forget First Friday. We really enjoyed the Wax Museum; kudos to Second Grade and Mrs. Williams.
Hi All. This week we will be celebrating Earth Day by planting seeds and hopefully watching them grow. We will finish Mm and Nn and move on to Pp, Vv, and Ww. We are looking at different ways to subtract. We will visit the second grade wax museum on Friday. Please do not forget to send in donations to the food pantry. We are learning that we should try to be a friend like Jesus has taught us.
Welcome Back! Just a few reminders. On April 16 we will have our Yoga Class. The children seem very excited and it is supposed to help them focus and hopefully gain learning potential in the process. This Friday is 11:50 dismissal. We continue with letters Nn and Mm. We are learning about seeds and plants. We continue to explore addition and subtraction so keep practicing at home. We are learning the Hail Mary so you may want to practice at home.
Hello from K-2. We have a busy though short week. We are going to be starting our new Superkids Book fpr letters Nn and Mm. We are still looking into money and counting to add coins so keep practicing at home. On Monday we will visit the Science Lab and dye Easter eggs.On Wednesday dismissal is at 11:50 and the Easter Break begins. I wish you and your family a Blessed Easter .
Hello Everyone. This week we will finish letters Bb and Rr and move on to letters Nn and Mm. We are continuing our study of time and the calendar. Easter is almost here and we are getting "bunnified" ; doing lots of Easter stuff. Although the temperature says differently , we will be talking about spring and changing weather. Friday is Pajama Day! Don't forget to wear your pjs. We will have pizza for lunch that day and "Pp" snacks. We will be attending the Science Fair on Thursday and rehearsal for "Lights, Camera, Action next week. You are all invited to the show that evening. Enjoy the week.
Hello from K-2. This week we will explore letters Bb and Rr with our friends the Superkids. We will also continue to learn about time and the calendar. We continue learning about Jesus' Death and Resurrection . B'gosh and begorrah; we will be making pots of gold at the end of the rainbow and kites to fly in the March wind. With Easter approaching we will look at different animal eggs that remind us of renewal. I look forward to seeing all of on Thursday to discuss the Cherubs progress.
Spring is almost here! Just a couple of reminders- Pictures are this Thursday March 12th, keep practicing counting by fives and tens .We are finishing Uu and beginning Bb and Rr. Practice reading the letter books that have been sent home. We are beginning to learn about the calendar and will transition in to te.lling time with both analog and digital clocks.
